The Roebuck Park Community Opening was a day filled with fun, laughter and community spirit as families, friends and locals came together to celebrate this exciting new space at East of the Beach!
A Fantastic Community Turnout
Held on Sunday 5 May, the event welcomed residents, visitors and the Urban Quarter team for an afternoon of entertainment, delicious food and plenty of activities for all ages. The sun was shining and the park was buzzing with excitement as children explored the shipwreck-themed playground, while live music set the perfect atmosphere.
Northshore Christian Grammar School Principal, Stuart Chisholm and City of Wanneroo Councillor, Alex Figg cut the ribbon to mark the milestone with Urban Quarter General Manager, Stuart Reside.
Fun for Everyone
From face painting to raffle prizes and a fundraising sausage sizzle, there was something for everyone to enjoy! The pirate and mermaid appearances were a highlight, bringing smiles to the faces of young adventurers, while parents sipped on fresh coffee and soaked in the vibrant energy of the day.
A True Community Hub
Since opening, Roebuck Park has become a central gathering space for the Western Precinct and this event was a fantastic way to celebrate what makes it so special. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the day unforgettable!
